What’s the difference between me and other personal trainers? 

Most trainers tend to train their clients the same way  they train themselves without any thought given to the uniqueness of their client’s body or goals.  Their thinking is, “if it works for me, it will work for you.”  I understand that each client is unique, and I will use my 25 years of experience and expertise to customize your workouts to get you MAXIMUM RESULTS.

My personal training tailors each of your fitness training workouts in such a way as to make your body adapt to the exercise activities in order to achieve your goal(s). Each personal training client has a specific goal, and usually more than one. Different fitness goals require different exercise programs. For example, weight loss programs are very different from muscle toning, bodybuilding, strength training or general health and fitness workouts. I constantly see people on the wrong exercise program for their goals. My personal training tailors each exercise program for your goals.

I also balance your bodies muscles during each and every workout, while still focusing on accomplishing your fitness goals. You are only as strong as your weakest link, and this holds true for muscles. If one muscle or joint is weaker with respect to the other connecting muscles, then that weaker muscle will hold you back, your workouts back, and will make you stagnate and plateau, sometimes for years. An imbalance can also cause injuries. I will correct this balance through efficient personal training.

My personal training gives you more results in a shorter time just by the nature of continually tailoring each workout. My fitness training continuously tailors the exercise activities in order to force your body to adapt to the progressive increasing stress.

As your body is progressively stressed, your body is forced to adapt to the increasing stress, making your body adapt to become stronger, have more endurance, more physically fit - and eventually looking and feeling better.

My personal training designs your exercise workout program unique to your own body and your goals, which maximizes the efficiency of each workout. It helps you achieve results in a much shorter period of time. Over and over I hear from personal training clients that have been on many exercise programs over the years (or the same exercise program) and don't achieve many results overall. After training them for the first month, I am often told, they see more results from our training than in the many years they have been working out on their own! My personal training maximizes your time with your exercise and fitness workouts.

My personal training gives you more results in less time. Many people work out for years, expending large amounts of energy, on the wrong exercise program for their goals, the wrong fitness program for their body, incorrect exercise form and technique, and/ or not being consistent on a fitness workout  program – just doing whatever they feel like doing or their favorite exercises or workout routine. This kind of exercise workout leads to muscle imbalances, which leads to ineffective results and possible muscle imbalances which increases the likelihood of injuries. I also see people just going through the motions, not getting as much out of their exercise workout as they could, and they look and feel the same year after year!  My fitness training customizes each training program that is unique to you and fixes that.

The right personal trainer typically means a qualified fitness personal trainer with a minimum of a 4 year college degree in a field related to exercise fitness, health fitness, and/ or medical field, a personal trainer certification through a nationally accredited personal trainer program and one with years of experience, for the best possible experience.

WHAT MAKES MY PERSONAL TRAINING SUPERIOR?

I am certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association Of America,  with a bachelors degree in Exercise Sports Science. This expertise helps design extremely effective exercise programs to optimize time and energy, and maximize results.

THE PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

My Personal Training Program emphasizes:
• The setting of specific, attainable goals via specific exercises
• The customization of your diet, nutrition, and food program
• Your accountability in achieving your fitness goals
• Continuing education, nutritional counseling, and motivational support on how to achieve and maintain your fitness goals

At the inception of the program you will participate in providing me a full medical history, exercise history, and fitness assessment.

I will then develop a workout routine and provide nutritional guidance to achieve your goals. Your progress is under continual review and revisions to make sure your body positively and healthily adapts to the exercise to reach your fitness goals and to keep the workouts fresh and interesting.
